Don Branham met his wife, Kim, at good ol' SHS. They dated most of Don's senior year and picked up again after Don finished his first year of college. They were married in December 1980. Don has two children: Debra Elaine, 26, who lives in El Paso, Texas. Debra is married and has two children of her own. And, Matthew Caleb, 19, who just finished his first year as a business major at Carl Albert. Don is Director of Pharmacy for the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma. As such, he oversees all pharmacy and medication activities at a hospital and six clinics. He loves his job because he knows he makes a difference for patients. Prior to becoming a pharmacist, Don taught chemistry and biology on the high school level. Don loves muscle cars. He's currently in the process of restoring a 1970 Chevelle SS. Don also still loves basketball. He's continued to play and run all these years to the point that he's wearing out all his joints! Don's a fanatical hunter and hunts in Colorado, Wyoming, Arizona or some other Rocky Mountain state every year. He also loves history and really enjoys movies set in the renaissance period (such as "Braveheart," "Robin Hood," and "Rob Roy"). He also plans to travel to Europe, and, because of his heritage, has a specific desire to visit Scotland. Don became a Christian at an FCA retreat during his senior year. He said, "It's been great." Don still likes classic rock'n'roll and dances whenever he can get his wife to boogie. He's "still having fun after all these years." If you'd like to drop Don a note via e-mail, please click here. |
