Dr. Barrett Johnson recently completed his Ph.D. in Music Composition and Education and is now pursuing a professorship, teaching music at the college level.
Prior to receiving his doctorate, Barrett has owned a landscaping company, worked for the Dallas Symphony, made ends meet as a piano technician/tuner and owned an upscale retail business. Barrett continues to write 20th century classical music, but is focusing on computer-realized electro-acoustic music combined with his own digital animations. Barrett said, "I look forward to the 30th reunion as this is the first one I've made since graduation. And, in reading other profiles and in seeing several of you in the intervening years, I look forward to catching up on the lives you have led."
